What price should you charge on TikTok Shop?
Use the calculator as a TikTok Shop price calculator: enter your product cost, shipping and creator commission, then read two prices off the results.
Break-even price is the lowest price where an order stops losing money. Price for your target margin is the lowest price that keeps the profit margin you set — 20% by default. Percentage costs — TikTok's fees, creator commission and ad spend — grow with the price, so only part of any price increase reaches your profit.
In the example below, with creators driving 50% of orders at 15% commission, the product breaks even at MX$222.69 and needs to sell for MX$331.13 to keep a 20% margin — so the MX$399.00 example price leaves room to spare.

The Shipping Fee Program rate and cap come from TikTok Shop's Mexico Seller University. The 6% commission is from seller guides because TikTok's Mexico fee page isn't publicly readable — check the rate in your Seller Center. Every field is editable.
How the calculation works
TikTok's commission is a percentage of the order value. Everything else — creator commission, fulfilment, ads and returns — depends on how you sell, so the calculator stacks them into one profit figure per order.
Break-even ROAS is the selling price divided by the profit per order before ad spend. Below that ROAS, each ad-driven order loses money.
Worked example: a MX$399.00 product
Say you sell at MX$399.00 (including 16% VAT, as a VAT-registered seller) with a product cost of MX$140.00, MX$0.00 fulfilment per order, a 5% return rate and MX$60.00 lost per return. TikTok's fees (6% commission, 8% shipping fee program fee) are only part of the cost stack:

Creator commission cuts profit from MX$136.10 to MX$107.68 per order. With creators in the mix, ads need at least 3.71× ROAS just to break even — at 4× this product still makes money.

How much does TikTok Shop charge sellers in Mexico?
Seller guides put the commission at 6% of each order, VAT included. Sellers in the Shipping Fee Program pay another 8% on delivered orders, capped at MX$40 per item. Creator commission, shipping and ads are on top.
What is the Shipping Fee Program (SFP) fee?
An optional programme that funds shipping offers for buyers. Enrolled sellers pay 8% of the sale price on delivered orders, up to MX$40 per item since 22 June 2026 (MX$60 before). It isn't refunded if the order is later returned.
Is there a discount for new sellers in Mexico?
TikTok Shop has offered new sellers 0% commission for their first 90 days, reportedly up to MX$200,000 in sales, after they complete the onboarding missions in Seller Center. Pick the 0% option to see your margin during that period.
Does TikTok Shop withhold taxes in Mexico?
Yes. As a digital platform it withholds ISR and IVA from sellers — 2.5% ISR for individuals from 2026, and the full IVA when a seller has no valid RFC. These are prepayments of your own taxes rather than fees, so they aren't in the profit figure; ask your accountant how they offset.
