What price should you charge on TikTok Shop?

Break-even price is the lowest price where an order stops losing money. Price for your target margin is the lowest price that keeps the profit margin you set โ 20% by default. Percentage costs โ TikTok's fees, creator commission and ad spend โ grow with the price, so only part of any price increase reaches your profit.
In the example below, with creators driving 60% of orders at 15% commission, the product breaks even at โฌ22.45 and needs to sell for โฌ34.19 to keep a 20% margin โ so the โฌ29.90 example price leaves less than 20%.

How the calculation works
TikTok's commission is a percentage of the order value. Everything else โ creator commission, fulfilment, ads and returns โ depends on how you sell, so the calculator stacks them into one profit figure per order.
Break-even ROAS is the selling price divided by the profit per order before ad spend. Below that ROAS, each ad-driven order loses money.
Worked example: a โฌ29.90 product
Say you sell at โฌ29.90 (including 23% VAT, as a VAT-registered seller) with a product cost of โฌ8.97, โฌ4.50 fulfilment per order, a 8% return rate and โฌ4.00 lost per return. TikTok's fees (9% commission) are only part of the cost stack:

Creator commission cuts profit from โฌ6.82 to โฌ4.34 per order. With creators in the mix, ads need at least 6.89ร ROAS just to break even โ at 4ร this product loses money on every ad-driven order.

How much does TikTok Shop charge sellers in Ireland?
The standard commission in Ireland is 9% per order since 8 January 2026, up from the 5% launch rate. Some categories such as electronics may be 7%, and new stores can get 4% for up to 60 days by completing a listing mission. Creator commission, fulfilment and ads are extra.
Does the 9% include VAT?
Treat the commission as a cost on top of the VAT you owe. If you're VAT-registered and your price includes Ireland's 23% VAT, tick the VAT box so the calculator removes it from your revenue before working out profit.
Is there a new seller discount on TikTok Shop in Europe?
Stores opened after 8 January 2026 may qualify for a 4% commission rate for up to 60 calendar days by uploading 5 products within 15 days. Pick the 4% option to model it.
